Requests are recorded with a reference and move through identity or authority verification before personal information is disclosed, changed or deleted.
How requests are handled Submit enough detail to identify the account, workspace or record. We acknowledge the request with a reference. Identity, authority and scope may be verified. The request is assessed against POPIA, PAIA and other applicable retention duties. We provide the outcome or explain why a request is limited or refused where the law permits. Deleting a Better Business Toolkit profile is reviewed manually because authentication is hosted in shared infrastructure. This prevents a Talanta request from unintentionally removing access to another connected application.
Business records A business normally controls customer and worker information entered into its workspace. Requests about that content may be referred to the relevant business as responsible party.
